I was so honored to be nominated and then received financial support from Yvette Roche’s non-profit called Wings of Revival. I truly believe that this support I was given both financially and emotionally gave me the push and courage I needed to continue fighting this custody battle, which ultimately ended in a 9 hour trial and me receiving a step-up plan, which ends in 50/50 custody of my beautiful daughter Olivia. Today, I am on the board of Wings of Revival and help with the parent reunification support group, which is also run through Wings of Revival.
Wings of Revival helped me so much! I was able to conquer my addiction and get my family back. From the intense therapy to friendships and understanding, I cannot thank you enough for all of your help and support.
I thought my life was over when I hit rock bottom. Wings of Revival helped me to see that my life was worth living and I could rebuild what I had lost. Thank you so much for everything.
I moved here from Michigan on July 20th, 2022. The very next day I went to an AA meeting and met a lady who had gone through a custody battle like mine. We instantly became friends, she introduced me to some of her friends and before I knew it, two ladies were nominating me for financial help during the final time of my custody battle, right before I was about to go to court. This was the first time in 3 years that anyone had offered me financial help during this very trying time in both my life and my daughters.
